The year 2020 has been both an achieving yet difficult year for everyone due to COVID-19 Pandemic. For the College of Law (CL), in addition to its roster of produced good lawyers, there were six new lawyers and all were first takers who successfully hurdled and passed the 2019 Bar Examinations held in November 2019 at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
The new lawyers are the following: Atty. Lex Vincent P. Dagdag, Atty. Imee Ruth T. Francisco, Atty. Kent Alvin L. Guzman, Atty. Lovely Ann Joy C. Lazo, Atty. Meilyne C. Padua and Atty. Mirela A. Verzosa.
Based on the ranking provided by the Legal Education Board, the University of Northern Philippines was ranked Top 18 (22.27%) in the National Ranking of Law Schools’ Overall Performance with Fewer than 63 Examinees in the 2019 Bar Examinations.
