The Moot Courtroom is a dynamic and flexible facility that can be utilized for court simulations, classroom sessions, meetings, and other functions.
The Moot Courtroom can comfortably accommodate sixteen (16) students in an efficient setting while a maximum of twenty (20) students per class session can be accommodated adequately. To accommodate the maximum number of students, all professors handling the classes are requested to utilize the bench area to maximize instruction and courtroom space.
Audio-video aids and internet connection are available for utilization.
Students must observe the proper etiquette and decorum while inside the Moot Courtroom.
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the Moot Courtroom, with the exception of law student essentials.
All students must maintain the cleanliness of the Moot Courtroom.
After each class session, all students must properly arrange the tables and seats. Likewise, the class mayor, beadle or any classroom officer shall be responsible in turning off all the lights, electrical appliances, air-condition units and locking the door/s prior to leaving.
All students must respect the sanctity of the Moot Courtroom.
To preserve and maintain the furniture and fixtures, students from allied courses utilizing the moot courtroom are obliged to enter the facility five (5) minutes before their scheduled session. This will also allow law students to maximize their review time inside the mini-library and moot court room.
The College of Law and Law Student Government Board shall determine the propriety of imposing fees to both the students from the allied courses and law students for the upkeep and maintenance of the moot courtroom.
