Rights and Privileges

Every LSG member shall have the following rights and privileges:[1]

  1. To be informed fully with all the affairs of the LSG and reasons for policies, programs, projects and actions as maybe adopted by the organization;
  2. To participate in discussions and debates and to have any dissenting opinion and the reasons thereof be recorded;
  3. To be properly informed of the records of financial statements and other pertinent documents of the organization, which shall be published at the Bulletin Board of the College.
  4. To vote on the following matters brought before them:
    1. Amendments to the provisions of the Constitution and By-Laws of the LSG; and,
    1. Election of officers through secret balloting, as maybe prescribed by the Honest, Orderly, and Peaceful Elections Commission, hereinafter referred to as the HOPE Commission;
  5. To avail of the services or assistance as maybe rendered by the organization; and,
  6. To seek any elective position, subject to the provisions of Article VIII or the guidelines on Student Organizations.
